Odoo 14 → 16, ~20 custom modules — under two weeks, under $16,000

The starting point

The company ran self-hosted Odoo 14 with roughly 20 custom addons. Several of them weren't cosmetic — they carried real business logic with interdependencies, the part of an upgrade where things quietly break if nobody's checking.

What we did

Whole instance to Odoo 16: database, every addon, all the logic carried forward and verified against the old system. No discovery phase, no workshops — the quote came from looking at the actual system, and the work started on approval.

The result

• Under 1.5 weeks end to end — from handover to the customer clicking through their upgraded system.
• Under $16,000, fixed — agreed up front, paid after the customer verified everything worked.
• Numbers checked against the old instance — row counts, totals, sequences — before the customer ever saw it.

The speed isn't a rush job — it's what upgrades look like when one team does only this, with the process already built. Slow upgrades are usually slow because the calendar is full of meetings, not because the work needs months.
