Why leave Odoo 17?
- Security: Odoo only patches its three newest majors. 17 is outside that window (or about to be).
- Stack age: Old Python / PostgreSQL under 17 hit their own EOL and make hosting painful.
- Modules freeze: OCA and vendors stop shipping 17.0 bugfixes.
- The jump grows: every year you wait adds another version to the eventual upgrade.
